How to Pass KYC Verification on Phemex
The Phemex exchange doesn’t require KYC verification for trading, deposits, and withdrawals (except P2P). However, for peer-to-peer trading, and additional features and promotions of the platform, a KYC procedure is required. In this article, we’ll explain how to pass the Phemex KYC verification.

How to Pass Phemex Verification
To pass KYC on Phemex, you will need to provide your passport, driver's license or ID card. You will also need a mobile phone camera or a web camera with browser access. Verification is available to users over the age of 18. We’ll explain step by step how to verify your Phemex account.
Open the main page of Phemex, hover over the profile icon in the upper right corner, and click on your login there.

Go to your Phemex personal account
On the profile page, find the “Identity Verification” panel, and click “ID & Face Verification”.

Choose the type of verification. Please note that KYC on one Phemex account is irreversible and can only be of one type: corporate clients cannot be “reverified” to a personal account and vice versa. After selection, click "Confirm".

In the next window, check the data you had entered during registration. If you need to make some changes, click "Edit". If everything is correct, click "Confirm".
If all the details are correct, click "Confirm"
In the next window, click "Start".

In the document selection menu specify your country and select the document type.

Next, choose a way to take a picture of the document: using a webcam or a phone.
Before proceeding, make sure that your documents are well lit, free of glare, scuffs, reflections and or any other defects that can make them difficult to read. Otherwise, the documents may not be accepted.

Choose verification using a mobile phone or a PC webcam
If you choose verification with a phone, a page with a link via QR code will open. Scan it with your phone's camera. Then continue registration in your phone's browser.

If you select verification with a webcam, a camera window will open. Here you’ll need to show your passport and click on the green icon in the middle of the screen.

After uploading the passport via mobile phone/PC webcam, you’ll need to take a selfie. In the camera window, take several shots of your face from different angles. After that, you’ll be redirected back to the confirmation window.

Once the data is accepted, click "Close".

After completing all the steps, wait for KYC confirmation. The status of the procedure is shown in the upper right on the profile page.

Typically, for individual users, the process takes a few minutes.

Refresh the page. If the confirmation has been successful, a green check mark will appear confirming successful verification. Now you will need to set up 2FA for withdrawing funds from Phemex and other actions.
