HOW TO CONNECT CSCALP TO BYBIT

This article contains instructions for connecting the CScalp terminal to Bybit cryptocurrency exchange. In order to connect you need to have a Bybit account and install CScalp. If you open a new Bybit account, be sure to use the referral link.

Bybit is a Singaporean cryptocurrency exchange founded at the end of 2018. In the first year of work, the team managed to attract more than 1 million traders from around the world. The reason for success is a wide selection of tickers for exchange and trading. Fiat exchange, margin and spot trading, as well as futures contracts are available to users. For scalpers, the exchange is attractive for small fees of takers for all contracts. Its size is 0.075%.

Create API keys

In order to connect CScalp to Bybit, you need to create the keys "API key" and "Secret key" on the exchange website. This key bundle is the equivalent of a login and password. The trader can use up to 5 key pairs.

Attention! In order to create keys, you must configure two-factor Bybit authentication.

1. Follow API

Sign in your personal account of Bybit exchange. Move the cursor over the profile icon at the top of the menu. From the drop-down list, click on the "API" item.

2. Create "API" and "API secret"

Read the API key information carefully and click on «Create New Key».

Then create a name of API and activate the permissions by enabling the options: for contract "Position, Orders", for Derivatives API V3 "Trade" and for trading on the spot - "Trade." Also verify that API Transaction and "No IP restriction" is selected, then click "Submit". Enter the code from Google Authenticator and click the Confirm button again.

Copy or write down your API secret. If you close the window, you will not be able to see the Secret code again. "API" will always be available in your personal account. After you save the "API Secret", click the Confirm button. This ends the key creation process.

Note: If SPOT permission is enabled - "Trade," you can use the same API keys to connect both to spot and to inverse or perpetual futures.

Connect CScalp to Bybit

The connection to Bybit spot, inverse futures, perpetual USDT and USDC futures are similar. Consider connecting to Bybit with inverse futures as an example.

1. Open the Connections tab in CScalp

Start CScalp. Click Settings, and then click Connections. Find Bybit connection and expand the settings by pressing the gear.

2. Enter "API key" and "API Secret"

Enter your "API key" in the "Api Key" field. In the Api Secret field enter the API secret key. Don’t forget to disable the "View mode" switcher.

3. Connect to Bybit

Click the button in the form of a Bybit field. CScalp will be connected to the exchange. If the connection is OK, the field will be turned green.

Done! You have connected to Bybit Inverse futures and Perpetual futures platform, and can start trading. In order to connect to spot, read the instructions below.

4. Transfer your assets to spot account

To start trading on Bybit spot, you must have assets on a spot account, if your assets are in a derivative account then you need to transfer it, in order to do that, open the exchange website and click the "Assets" item in the top menu.

On the assets page, click the Transfer button.

Change the direction of translation by clicking on the arrow button, we transfer from the derivative account to the spot. After that, select the specified coin from the drop-down list and enter the amount. When the transfering finishes, click Confirm.

Great! We transferred assets to a spot account and now you can start trading on Bybit spot platform.

5. Add an order book and select ticker

Add the new order book after CScalp setting up will be done. In order to do this, click on the appropriate icon in the lower right corner.

Click on the order book area thereafter.

In the side menu of the opened window - select Bybit connection.

Then double click on the specified ticker from the list. It’s done! Bybit trading ticker selected!
