Changing PIN Code in CScalp

This article covers the features available in the “Other” tab of the CScalp terminal.

App Closing Confirmation

When you close CScalp using the “X” button in the upper right corner, a message will appear asking you to confirm this action. You can disable this feature if necessary.

How to disable: Go to the “Other” tab and find the “Application closing confirmation” option. Click on the checkbox on the left to adjust this setting. “Checked” – on. “Unchecked” – off. Changes will be automatically saved.

Changing the PIN in CScalp

A PIN consists of four numbers that the user enters every time the application starts. This feature is optional, not mandatory. The PIN serves as an additional layer of security to protect against unauthorized access to the application and your data (unlike QScalp and TigerTrade).

To change your PIN, follow these steps:

1. Open the CScalp main window settings and navigate to the “Other” tab.
2. Click “Change PIN” (Изменение ПИН-кода).
3. In the window that appears, enter your current PIN and set a new one.

Record Detailed Logging

If this feature is enabled, the application will record detailed logs. This may be required by Technical Support to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.

How to enable it:

1. Navigate to the “Other” section and locate the “Enable detailed logging” option.
2. Click the toggle switch on the right to change the setting:
   • Dark gray with a checkmark means Enabled.
   • Light gray means Disabled.

Changing the License

We have added an option to change your license. To do this, open “Settings”, navigate to the “Other” tab, and select “Change License”.
