How to connect CScalp to the Phemex exchange

We made a guide on how to connect CScalp trading terminal to Phemex cryptocurrency exchange. First, install CScalp on a computer and sign up for an account on Phemex.

Sign up for Phemex
Open an account on the Phemex exchange using a referral link from the CScalp team. Click on the "Sign up for Phemex" button. By registering via a referral link, you will receive a bonus from the exchange - a 20% discount on all commissions and a welcome bonus up to $180. Create API keys
To connect CScalp to Phemex, you need to create API keys "ID" and "API secret" in the personal dashboard of the exchange. Hover the cursor over the profile icon in the top menu of the Phemex site and select "API Management" in the popup menu.
Go to the official Phemex site and proceed to the "API Management" section
Then click "Create a new API key".
To create API keys, click "Create new API key"
The API keys creation form will appear. Select "High limit speed of API input" or "Default API input". Click "Next".
Choose the type of API keys based on our needs and the type of IP address.
The option "High limit speed of API input" is suitable if you plan to trade from only one static IP address. You can find out the type of your IP address (static or dynamic) from your provider. As an example, we choose "Default API input".
In the next window, enter the name of the keys in the "Name" field. Choose whether or not to bind the IP address. If you plan to trade from a single static IP address, select "Link IP address" and specify it. Select the "Allow to trade" option. Then click "Confirm".

Specify API key name
The "Allow to trade" option is needed to allow a trader to make trades on Phemex through CScalp. Enabling the option doesn't allow withdrawing funds from the user's trading account.
Done! You have created API keys. The "ID" (public key) and "API secret" (secret key) will be displayed in the window. Copy them to enter into CScalp.

Copy the "ID" and "API secret" keys to enter them into CScalp.
Note that the "API Secret" key is displayed only once when created. The "ID" key will always be available in your personal dashboard. When necessary, you will always be able to create new API keys.
Important: Keys are activated 30 minutes after they’re created. They only support IPv4 IP protocol.
Enter API keys in CScalp
Launch CScalp, open the "Settings" tab in the top menu, and select "Connections". Select the desired Phemex exchange connection by clicking on the "gear" next to its name.
In the ApiKey field, enter the "ID" key, and in the ApiSecret field, enter the "API Secret". Disable the "View Only" switcher to start trading.
Connect to Phemex
After entering the API keys, click the Phemex logo. When CScalp establishes a connection, the area of the exchange will be highlighted in green.
Done! Now you can start trading.
Note: CScalp users can trade in several Phemex accounts at the same time due to the multiple accounts function. Read more about multiple accounts here.
Add an order book and select ticker
Add the new order book after CScalp setting up will be done. In order to do this, click on the appropriate icon in the lower right corner.
Click on the order book area thereafter.
In the side menu of the opened window - select Phemex connection.
Then double click on the specified ticker from the list. It’s done! Phemex trading ticker selected!
