BscScan is a blockchain block explorer for BNB Smart Chain. The resource provides public information about transactions, smart contracts, blocks, token offerings and other data about BSC network. The capabilities of BscScan are similar to Etherscan. Registration is not required to use the main functionality of BscScan.

On the BscScan homepage there is a search bar for checking transactions and smart contracts. Overview of the BNB Smart Chain network include: BNB price and market cap, last block data, number of validators, transactions, and network transaction chart over the past 14 days.

Transactions checking
If transaction is completed, the Transaction Hash (transaction ID) is displayed in the cryptocurrency wallet. In order to check the transaction, you need to enter it in the search bar on the main BscScan. You can also specify the recipient's wallet address to verify the transfer.

Transaction Hash;
Status;
Block;
Timestamp;
Sender's wallet address;
recipient's wallet address;
Value;
Transaction fee;
BNB price.

Smart contracts overview
You can also view smart contracts and interact with them directly through the BscScan search bar. You can find the contract address on CoinMarketCap, CoinGeсko or in the Tokens section of BscScan service.
After entering the address, the balance data and general information about the contract will be displayed. As an example, we use the CAKE token contract of the PancakeSwap exchange.

To interact with the contract, follow "Contract" tab in the bottom menu, then click "Write Contract". Here are the available functions for working with the contract. For example, a user can transfer tokens from a wallet through the transfer function.

To interact with smart contracts, you need to connect a cryptocurrency wallet to BscScan by clicking "Connect to Web3". Available wallets: MetaMask and Wallet Connect.
Blockchain section
In the "Blockchain" section, you can get acquainted with the data on transactions carried out on the network and transactions awaiting confirmation. It also provides information on block mining, verified contracts and top accounts.

The BscScan "Validators" section contains information about the validators that validate blocks and process transactions. The leaderboard and general information about the validators are also presented.

The "Tokens" section provides information on BEP-20 , ECR 721 and ECR 1155 tokens and transactions with them. Available data: USD price, price change in percentage, trading volume over the last 24 hours, market capitalization and number of holders. More data you can find out about a certain token by clicking on it.

Resources section
The "Resources" section contains graphs, charts and tables of data on the BSC network. With their help, you can track the level of activity in the network and trends. Also here you can find transactions data, tokens and network for the last 24 hours, 3 days and 7 days.

In the "More" section, API documentation (data for developers) and other data, a gas tracker and order trackers on decentralized exchanges (DEX), as well as various tools are available.
