Note: if a trader uses a terminal via NinjaTrader Brokerage, the trader can trade only futures and currencies. In order to trade shares it is necessary to open an account with a third-party broker. A list of brokers to trade through the terminal is available on the official website of NinjaTrader.
An alert feature is also implemented in the terminal. They can be displayed on charts, in the news window and in the market analysis panel. The NinjaTrader news window displays real-time data.
NinjaTrader’s simulation strategy testing is based on a demo account. Users can simultaneously use a real account and a demo account in different windows.
There are 8 types of charts in NinjaTrader - Japanese candles, Kagi charts, opening/closing charts, etc. The user can set bar/candle size by tick, volume and range. You can also set the main parameter of the chart (ask, bid), the number of days or bars. Also it has a feature when a trader may place orders from a chart.
