How to Install the Previous CScalp Version

We have prepared step-by-step instructions for installing the previous version of the CScalp trading platform. In order to download and use the previous version of the terminal, you need to have FSR Launcher installed on your computer.
If you do not have FSR Launcher yet, please fill out the form below. You will receive an email containing the download link and a free license file upon submission.
1 Download the Installation File
Open the Launcher and navigate to the “CScalp Versions” tab. Then, click the “Download” button.
2 Install FSR Launcher in a Separate Folder
Once you’ve downloaded the installation file, click on “Open folder.”
Run FSR_Launcher_Old_Install.
Before installing the previous version, close all applications, including QUIK.
Next, select the installation language and click “OK.”
Accept the license agreement, then click “Browse” when prompted to select the installation folder.
Select any other folder from the list (or another drive). Then click “Next.”
Important! The previous version of CScalp cannot be installed in the default folder. Therefore, please choose an alternative installation directory.
Go through the standard installation procedure by clicking “Next” multiple times. When prompted, install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 component and then click “Finish.”
If FSR Launcher doesn’t start automatically, launch it manually using the shortcut on your desktop.
3. Launch CScalp Through the FSR Launcher
After launching the FSR Launcher, click on “Launch the platform” under “CScalp”.
Done! The previous version of CScalp has been launched.
4. Transfer the Settings to the Previous Version
For users who still have trading platform settings in another CScalp version, you’ll need to transfer them yourself.
Start another version of CScalp and go to the “Settings” window. Then click the “Export” icon located below.
Select the desired settings and click “Export.”
Choose a convenient location to store the settings file and click “Save.” This window will appear:
Now, you need to import the settings to the previous version. Start CScalp and go to the settings. Then click on “Settings” and select the “Import” icon.
Select the previously exported settings file and click “Open.” Then click “OK.”
The settings have been transferred to the previous version. Now you can start trading!

Do I need a different license file to use the previous CScalp version?
Not necessarily, an existing license file is enough.
Can I run the previous version and the release version simultaneously?
No. You can only run one CScalp app.
Why do I need a previous CScalp version?
Some users prefer not to update the trading platform and use earlier versions. That is why we provide this opportunity.
